Brendan Carr has been busy as of late.
The Donald Trump-appointed chairman of the Federal Communications Commission has aggressively wielded his office’s power in recent weeks — pressuring CBS to hand over raw material from its “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris, reinstating pro-Trump petitions against ABC and NBC from the 2024 election, and launching alarming new investigations into NPR, PBS, and the Soros-backed Audacy. Simply put, Carr has been on a tear.
