Last month, Will Lewis, the embattled publisher and chief executive of The Washington Post, sat down for a curious off-the-record meeting. Lewis, who rarely gives his own journalists the time of day, had taken time out of his schedule to meet with Eliana Johnson, the editor-in-chief of the conservative Free Beacon.
